Quick Start:

Step Instructions
1. Inspect Ensure the bag is sealed and the filter patch and injection port are intact.
2. Inoculate Clean the injection port with alcohol. Inject 4-8 mL of liquid culture or spores using a sterile syringe.
3. Shake (Optional) Once 20–30% colonized, gently break up the mycelium to help spread growth (OPTIONAL).
4. Wait Let colonize at 70–75°F in a clean, dark space. Most bags finish in 10–18 days.
5. Use or Store Once fully colonized, use immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks before transferring to bulk substrate.

Storage and Support:

Storage: Keep your grain bag stored between 45°F and 70°F for best results. Use as soon as possible to prevent the grains from drying out or the natural sugars and nutrients from breaking down.
