Quick Start:
| Step | Instructions |
|---|---|
| 1. Inspect | Ensure the bag is sealed and the filter patch and injection port are intact. |
| 2. Inoculate | Clean the injection port with alcohol. Inject 4-8 mL of liquid culture or spores using a sterile syringe. |
| 3. Shake (Optional) | Once 20–30% colonized, gently break up the mycelium to help spread growth (OPTIONAL). |
| 4. Wait | Let colonize at 70–75°F in a clean, dark space. Most bags finish in 10–18 days. |
| 5. Use or Store | Once fully colonized, use immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks before transferring to bulk substrate. |
Storage and Support:
Storage: Keep your grain bag stored between 45°F and 70°F for best results. Use as soon as possible to prevent the grains from drying out or the natural sugars and nutrients from breaking down.
