What’s Included

  • 2 × 3 lb sterilized milo/sorghum grain bags
  • Unicorn 10T bag with 0.2 micron filter
  • Microppose self-healing injection port
  • Each bag vacuum-sealed inside a secondary 4 mil bag

Quick Start Guide

Step Instructions
1. Inspect Ensure the bag is sealed and that the filter patch and injection port are intact.
2. Inoculate Clean the injection port with alcohol. Inject 4–8 mL of liquid culture or spores using a sterile syringe.
3. Shake (Optional) Once 20–30% colonized, gently break up the mycelium to help distribute growth.
4. Incubate Let colonize at 70–75°F in a clean, dark space. Most bags finish in 10–18 days.
5. Use or Store Once fully colonized, use immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks before transferring to bulk substrate.

Storage Guidelines

  • Store between 45°F and 70°F until ready to use
  • Use as soon as possible for best performance
  • Do not freeze

the grain: i picked milo took off nicely, 2 cc’s per bag, 5 bags per syringe. Works very nice, bags will be done withing a week. I should break and shake right now but, I think ill wait another week or so. As for the bulk substrate, looks great ive been keeping it in our storage room, its super chilly in there. And, it should work great when the time comes. Personally, ive never had issues with any of the bags ive purchased. I hardly inoc in my SAB anymore, as theres no need I just flame sterilize the needle, and inoculate.
