They are already sweating over here because it’s hot when they got here I should’ve bought it when I’m ready for it put it in the fridge so hopefully that will hold it together the sweating in there so I think it should be fine
No worries at all. Condensation is pretty common with agar and usually happens when plates move from a warm environment to a cool one, or vice versa.
The best thing to do is let the plates acclimate to room temperature for about 24 hours before opening them. For storage, I recommend keeping them in a spot with stable temperatures, like an interior closet or cabinet. Avoid areas that get hot during the day and cool off at night, as temperature swings are what typically cause condensation.
You can store them in the fridge, but be prepared for heavy condensation on the lids and sometimes even pooling water when they are brought back to room temperature. As long as they remain sealed, a little condensation by itself is usually nothing to worry about.
